My favorite drawing in the Drawing Conclusions exhibition in the SCI-Arc Gallery deals with gray scale colors and series of resembling figures which are collaged on a thinner white paper.  When I first encountered this drawing from the mezzanine catwalk walking towards the class room, the contrast of the use of colors between the left and the right left me a strong impression, where the left part is expressed with various light gray colors which appears to be sensitive.  On the other hand the right part is strictly drawn by only black or white.  Although once you get closer to the drawing, the robust appearance of the right part becomes delicate.  You realize that the right part of the drawing is made of the mixture of fine ink on the paper and rough prints on the cutouts of thicker paper.  The quality of the paper and the colors resembles the contrast of the very light gray color and not printed area on the left part of the drawing.  The similar settle moment happens within the powerful look on the right side of the drawing in the way the thicker paper are collaged.  Each figure of the cutouts has both thinner parts and thicker parts, and they are carefully pasted so that some parts could go either on top or bottom of the figures.  You could only realize the sensitiveness within this drawing which gives such a strong impact, when you pay particular attention to what the each element is doing.  With the different expression of the awareness next to it almost as if these two parts are holding hands together, I fell in love with the drawing even more.
